“Angels Among Us” Original Artwork

This original wood-burned piece is 24 x 24 inches, created on cradled birch. I first woodburn the piece and then layer with watercolor to create a dreamscape of the intangible. The sides of the piece are also wood-burned and measure 2 1/2 inches thick. (Wood-burning is pyrography, which translates to ‘burning with fire’.)

Each piece has a poem attached to it, inviting further contemplation into our experiences here in earth.

The poem that goes along with the piece is:

There are angels among us,
As the crumbling of paradigms old…

We are awakening,
as the fate of the future unfolds…

But we don’t need to crumble with it,

The key, you see, is to
Surrender, release, and let go….
