Miniature Wooden Purse - Pink and Mint Quartz Handle with Tassel - Titled "Over our Shoulders"
Enjoy this decorative, tiny wooden purse box! This one is called “Over Our Shoulders.” I hand-beaded the strap with mint and pink quartz and wooden beads. I then added a pale, pink tassel.
Note that there are two female figures for this purse, one for the front and one for the back. The sides of the purse are covered in pink apple blossom flowers and green ferns. I am inspired by nature, people, beauty, dreams, poetry, music, and life. This one I was inspired by apple blossoms. Apple blossoms are a symbol for long life, and life continuing even after death. The blossom turns into an apple. The tree loses its leaves for the winter, and in spring is renewed again. The fern is a symbol of eternal youth and hope for future generations.

Each purse is woodburned and then colored with watercolor pencils. I coat with several layers of UV spray for protection. I lined the inside with dark brown felt for a soft, luxurious feel. These purses are one of a kind and original. There are no replications.
